How to make hard tofu cheese from two ingredients: the easiest recipe
Tofu is a popular hard cheese in Asian cuisine. It is made from legumes, most often chickpeas. This product is not always affordable in the store or on the market, but you can easily make it at home with just two ingredients. Tofu will perfectly complement salads, rolls, and hot dishes, and is also suitable for sandwiches.

Ingredients:
- water – 2 cups
- chickpeas – 1 cup
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the chickpeas 2-3 times in fresh water.
2. Put the chickpeas in a sieve and rinse again.
3. Put in a bowl, cover with water, and leave overnight.
4. Rinse the chickpeas again and blend them in a blender until smooth.
5. Strain the resulting mass through cheesecloth.
6. Put the mixture in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened – about 20-30 minutes.
7. Let the mass cool completely.
