How to make delicious hot chocolate at home: a simple technology
Homemade hot chocolate will be a great addition to your favorite movie on a chilly winter evening. Spices will add a special flavor and aroma. The drink will be thick and will go well with your favorite dessert.
The idea of making homemade hot chocolate was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Ilona Kostiuk (ilonakostyk). You need to add one unusual ingredient: dates.
Recipe for homemade hot chocolate

Ingredients:
- 300 g vegetable milk (soy or almond)
- 2 pcs. dates
- 20 g of vegetable protein (I got pumpkin)
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 7 g of cocoa powder
- 10 g of hazelnut paste
- 50 g of dark chocolate

1. Whisk milk with dates until smooth.
2. If the dates are hard, soak them in boiling water for 30 minutes.

3. Pour the milk into a saucepan with all the other ingredients except chocolate.

4. Stirring, heat almost to a boil, then add the chopped chocolate and mix well with a whisk.
5. The chocolate should be completely melted and you will get a homogeneous thick hot drink.
