How to make crispy zucchini nuggets: a diet snack option

Zucchini are versatile vegetables, from which you can prepare a variety of dishes: pancakes, pancakes, rolls and cakes with stuffing. In addition, it is an excellent base for crispy and dietary nuggets, which are great for snacking and do not harm the figure.

Foodblogger Valentina with the nickname valentyna_toper_ on her page in TikTok shared a recipe for zucchini nuggets in the oven, which you can make in 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • zucchini - 1 kg
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • dried garlic - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1/3 tsp.
  • paprika - 0.5 tsp.
  • hard cheese - 150 g
  • bread crumbs - 150 g

Method:

1. Wash zucchini, remove peels and stalks. Cut into slices.

2. Put the zucchini in a bowl, salt and stir. Leave in this form for a while to let the juice flow.

3. In the meantime, prepare the breading. Mix the eggs with pepper, garlic and paprika.

4. Separately, grate the cheese on a grater and mix with the breadcrumbs.

5. Toss the zucchini in a sieve to drain the excess water. Then dip each piece first in egg breading, then - in the dry mixture. Place on a baking tray.

6. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Done!
