How to make Broken Glass jelly cake so that it holds its shape: the perfect variant
Broken Glass is a popular jelly and cookie cake. It is based on a delicate sour cream mass, which, after hardening, perfectly binds all the components. But it will taste even better if you add your favorite fruit.
The idea of making the perfect Broken Glass dessert was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia with the nickname cooking_by_yuliya. The dessert looks very nice when cut.
Ingredients:
- 3 types of jelly
- 500 g sour cream 20%
- fruit
- 20 g of gelatin
- sugar
- vanilla sugar
- graham cracker
Method of preparation:
1. Make the jelly according to the instructions on the package in advance.
2. Pour gelatin into water and wait for it to swell.
3. Add vanilla sugar to the sour cream. Add sugar to taste.
4. Pour in the heated gelatin and mix everything.
5. Add fruit, diced jelly, cookies and mix quickly.
6. Leave in the refrigerator for a while.
7. When the first layer has hardened, put the fruit on top and gradually spoon over the jelly, carefully pouring it in layers.
8. When the first layer has hardened, repeat the step.
