How to make Spanish-style airy omelet: no milk or butter
Tortilla is a traditional dish of Spanish cuisine, or, more simply, an omelet with potatoes. The unusual combination of products, at first glance, makes an unusually tasty dish. This tortilla is perfect both hot and as a cold appetizer. The omelet is also very airy and has a delicate flavor.
Food blogger Valeria (cook_with_val) shared a recipe for a Spanish-style tortilla omelet on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 4 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc
- tomato - 1 pc
- eggs - 3 pcs
- spices
Method of preparation:
1. Beat eggs with a whisk until smooth. Add spices and mix.
2. Cut potatoes into thin slices and onion and tomato into cubes.
3. Fry potatoes until golden brown. Then add the onion and tomato. Simmer for 7 minutes.
4. Pour eggs over the vegetables and fry the tortilla on both sides under the lid until cooked.
