How to cook pate so that the liver does not become bitter: what is important to add

The idea of making homemade chicken liver pate was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anna with the nickname anika.land.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver - 500 g
  • sour apple - 1 pc
  • onion - 1 pc
  • carrot - 1 pc
  • garlic - a few cloves
  • butter - 100 g
  • Italian herbs or savory, oregano
  • refined vegetable oil
  • salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the vegetables into thin slices (to make them bake faster).

2. Just rinse the liver, do not cut it.

3. Put everything separately on a baking sheet in a single layer.

4. Add spices and refined oil. Mix well.

5. Add the butter.

6. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

7. Whip with an immersion blender and bring to taste with spices. Put in a container.

8. Melt the butter and pour over the top to cover the entire pate (sprinkle with spices).

9. Cool completely so that the pste hardens and stabilizes.
