How to cook cheese soup, a perfect dish for a hearty lunch
Cheese soup is a light and easy-to-prepare lunch dish based on melted or hard cheese. The first course is also often supplemented with meat, mushrooms, sausages and even meatballs.
Food blogger Yulia Simonchuk (cook_julija_simonchuk) shared a recipe for a 30-minute cheese soup with mushrooms on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- meat (chicken thigh fillet in the recipe) - 350 g
- mushrooms - 400 g
- onion - 1 pc
- carrots - 1 pc
- potatoes - 2-3 pcs
- processed cheese - 3 pieces
- salt, pepper, bay leaf
Method of preparation:
1. First, chop and fry the meat in a thick-bottomed pan.
2. Pour water and cook the broth.
3. Meanwhile, chop the onion and chop/grate the carrots. Make a roast based on the vegetables.
4. Chop and fry the mushrooms separately until the liquid has completely evaporated.
5. Chop potatoes, add them to the broth. Salt and cook until almost tender.
6. Chop the processed cheese and add to the broth. Add mushrooms and roast. Cook until the cheese is melted.
7. Add pepper, bay leaf, and herbs at the end. Cover with a lid and let it brew. It's ready!
