How to cook benderyky with meat without pancakes: a quick way
Benderyky is a Ukrainian dish in the form of triangles made of pancakes and meat filling fried in a pan. The dish is very tasty and nutritious.
A food blogger with the nickname radostina_ksenia told us how to make benderyky with meat if you don't have time to bake pancakes. She shared the recipe on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Minced meat (to taste)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Favorite spices
- Onion
The method of preparation:
1. Peel and grind the onion in a blender.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the minced meat with chopped onion, add your favorite spices that will taste good in the future dish, as well as salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
3. Take a square pita bread and cut it in half. Cut the resulting halves in half as well.
4. Spread the filling on the edge of the pita bread and fold it into a triangle.
5. If you want the benderyky to be soft, soak the triangles in a beaten egg. If you want a crispy crust, you don't need to do this, just put the benderyky in a frying pan with a little oil.
6. Fry on both sides until the filling is cooked and golden brown.
