How to bake bread in a cooking sleeve: it does not crumble when sliced

Bread is the most popular product that is very easy to make at home: in a frying pan, microwave, bread machine, and oven. The main thing is to knead the dough correctly, and yeast dough is considered successful. Thanks to it, bread rises well, as well as turns out soft and fluffy.

On her Instagram page, food blogger Marianna Ryzhman (kitchen_ladyboss) shared a recipe for homemade bread that you can easily make in the oven in a cooking sleeve. Thanks to this technique, the finished dish is very soft and does not crumble when sliced.

Bread recipe in a cooking sleeve in the oven

Ingredients:

  • water - 400 ml
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • dry yeast - 12 g
  • salt - 1.5 tsp
  • flour - 600 g
  • oil - 2 tbsp + for kneading - 3 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Add yeast, sugar, salt and 1/4 of flour to warm water. Stir and leave for 15 minutes.

2. Add the rest of the flour and oil to the ready dough. Knead the dough for 3 minutes, greasing your hands with oil. Leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.

3. After 1 hour has passed, knead the dough and leave it for another 30 minutes.

4. Put the finished dough on a floured surface and form a loaf, making cuts on top. Put the bread in the sleeve. Leave for 15 minutes.

5. Bake the bread in a 180-degree oven for 1 hour. Remove the baked bread from the sleeve and cover with a towel.
