Homemade fluffy buns: a recipe for the most successful dough

Homemade buns are flavorful pastries the taste of which is truly exceptional. They are fluffy, airy, and soft. And that's exactly how they turn out when you make them from yeast dough.

One of the culinary blogs (lvivski.recipes) on Instagram published a recipe for yeast buns. They can be made with or without any filling and served with delicious sprinkles.

Recipe for homemade yeast buns

Ingredients:

  • dry yeast - 7 g (or pressed - 20 g)
  • flour - 630 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • milk - 300 ml
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • salt
  • butter - 70 g
  • vanilla - 5 g

For the sprinkles:

  • flour - 45 g
  • sugar - 40 g
  • cold butter - 20 g

Method of preparation:

1. For the dough, mix warm milk, 2 tbsp of sugar, yeast and a little sifted flour. Leave the starter in a warm place for 20 minutes.

2. Beat salt, sugar and eggs until smooth. Add softened butter. Mix with the starter and mix thoroughly. Add vanilla.

3. Add the rest of the flour and knead the dough by hand. It should be soft and elastic. Leave it in a warm place for 1 hour. After an hour, knead the dough and leave it for another 1 hour.

4. Put the finished dough on the table and divide it into 20 pieces. If you are making buns with a filling, wrap it inside and form balls. Put the buns on a greased baking sheet, cover with foil and leave for 20 minutes.

5. Brush the buns with a beaten egg. Bake at 180 °C for 30 minutes.
