Fresh salad with zucchini and green apple: an idea shared by Hector Jimenez-Bravo

Salad can be called a seasonal summer dish without exaggeration. It can combine a variety of healthy ingredients, interesting dressings, and takes as little time as possible. Especially when the ingredients are chopped with a useful life hack.

Famous chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared the idea of making a fresh summer salad on his Instagram page. The chef chops some vegetables with a regular vegetable peeler in just a few seconds.

Ingredients:

  • carrots – 100 g
  • zucchini – 100 g
  • cucumber - 100 g
  • green apple – 50 g
  • radish – 20 g
  • herbs (parsley, cilantro, mint, basil) – 30 g
  • hard cheese – 30 g
  • walnuts – 15 g

Ingredients for the dressing:

  • oil – 30 ml
  • lemon juice – 20 ml
  • honey – 20 ml
  • salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Chop the carrots, zucchini, and cucumber with a vegetable peeler.

2. Prepare the sauce: squeeze the lemon, and pour in the oil.

3. Add honey and spices.

4. Mix well.

5. Chop the apple, chop the radish.

6. Simply slice the cheese with a vegetable peeler into the salad bowl.

7. Pour in a little dressing.

8. Add the selected greens.

9. Stir the salad.

10. Put on a plate.

11. Pour the rest of the dressing.
