Cookies with jam: budget homemade pastries in a hurry
In addition to pies, you can also make cookies with jam. This is a budget version of baking for tea in a hurry. It is not difficult to prepare, but it turns out incredibly tasty.
Food blogger Oksana Pashko shared a recipe for homemade cookies with jam on her YouTube channel (Cooking with Oksana Pashko).
Ingredients:
- flour – 400 g
- butter – 200 g
- jam or jam – 150 g
- sugar – 130 g
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- milk - 2 tbsp.
- baking powder for the dough – 15 g
- starch – 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Beat eggs, milk, and sugar with a mixer until fluffy.
2. Add soft butter to the resulting mass. Beat again until smooth.
3. Gradually add flour and baking powder. Knead the dough with a mixer at first, then continue with your hands. Wrap the finished dough in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
4. For the filling, mix starch and jam.
5. Divide the finished dough into 2 parts, and roll each of them thinly. Spread each layer of dough thinly with jam. Wrap in a roll.
6. Cut the roll into portions. Roll the prepared rolls in starch on both sides and place on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
