Chocolate cake in a pan: it rises well and turns out very fluffy

If you're not in the mood for baking today, a simple cake is the perfect solution. As you can imagine, you don't have to turn on the oven, and the batter for the dessert is very simple to prepare: you just need to mix everything. During the cooking process, the cake rises well and turns out to be very fluffy.

Food blogger Victoria Kelbas (kelbas_v) shared a recipe for a chocolate cake that can be easily prepared in a frying pan on her Instagram page.

Ingredients (24-26 cm frying pan):

  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • sugar - 180 g
  • vanilla sugar - 10 g
  • salt - 0.5 tsp
  • sunflower oil - 100 ml
  • milk - 200 ml
  • flour - 250 g

  • cocoa - 50 g
  • baking powder - 18 g
  • semolina - 1 tbsp
  • fruit

Method of preparation:

1. First, beat eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until creamy. You can use a whisk instead of a mixer.

2. Pour milk and oil into the resulting mass. Mix well.

3. Mix flour, cocoa and baking powder separately. In several stages, pour the dry ingredients into the mixture. Mix well.

4. Cut and dry fruit.

5. Next, cover the bottom of the pan with parchment, grease the center and the sides with oil. Pour half of the batter and smooth it out.

6. Sprinkle semolina and add fruit. Pour the rest of the batter. Shake the pan a little so that the cake rises evenly. Fry under the lid on a slightly lower than medium heat for 25-30 minutes.

7. As soon as the edges of the cake are dry, turn the cake over to the other side and continue to cook under the lid for another 25-30 minutes.

8. Decorate the cake when ready.
