No-bake cheese and potato bread with a filling: a simple recipe

Bread is a highly sought-after product that almost everyone eats. At home, you can make any kind of bread from different flours, even without it. However, if you want something new, you can experiment and give your bread a bright flavor with spices, garlic, cheese, onions, and herbs.

Cook Tamara (tomka_recepti) shared a recipe for delicious hearty potato bread, which is cooked in a pan, on Instagram.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • flour - 1 cup
  • milk - 35 g
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • butter - 1 tbsp.
  • salt - a pinch

Filling:

  • potatoes - 1 pc.
  • processed cheese - 1/2 pc.
  • any greens - a bunch
  • hard cheese - 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix flour with milk. Add egg, salt and butter and mix. Knead the dough, put it in a bag and leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

2. Dice potatoes and boil them in salted water.

3. Drain the potatoes, add butter, melted cheese and herbs. Mix until smooth.

4. Roll out the finished dough, put the potato filling and top with slices of hard cheese and herbs. Pinch the edges so that the filling is not visible and roll out.

5. Grease the frying pan with oil, put the bread, grease it with oil and cook under the lid. Fry until golden on both sides.
