Budget baked carrot spread: better than store-bought ones
A delicious sandwich spread can be easily made at home. All you need is simple vegetables. The result is a very tender and savory appetizer that can be eaten with bread.
The idea of making a budget-friendly spread of baked carrot was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Ilona Kostiuk. Be sure to add one special ingredient: ice cubes.
Ingredients:
- boiled white beans - 240 g
- medium carrots - 2 pcs.
- tahini - 50 g
- garlic - 2 cloves
- smoked paprika - 1 tsp.
- coriander - 1 tsp.
- lemon - 1 pc (juice)
- miso paste - 1 tsp.
- bean broth - 70 g
- ice - 2 cubes
Method of preparation:
1. Cut carrots.
2. Bake in the oven at 220 degrees for 30 minutes until soft and golden brown.
3. Put all the ingredients in the blender bowl.
4. Beat until smooth.
5. Ice cubes help create a silky, delicate texture, so don't skip this step.
