Better than mayonnaise, yogurt and sour cream: a versatile avocado sauce for any dish
Avocado is a very nutritious fruit that is used to prepare healthy meals. It can be not only salads and sandwiches but also a healthy sauce. It is much better than store-bought mayonnaise, sour cream, and yogurt.
The idea of preparing a healthy sauce for salads and shawarma was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx_fit). You only need 5 simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
- avocado - 1 pc.
- boiled eggs - 1 pc.
- mustard - 1 tsp.
- lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- salt, pepper, dried garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Put avocado in a blender bowl.
2. Add boiled egg and mustard.
3. Squeeze lemon juice (it is necessary to prevent the sauce from darkening).
4. Add dried garlic, salt and pepper.
5. Beat with an immersion blender until smooth.
6. Suitable for salads and for pita bread.
