Apricot jam is not only a delicious stand-alone dessert, but also a filling for baked goods and desserts. In its finished form, the delicacy is delicious with pancakes and even ice cream. Cooking jam is very easy at home. Adhering to the proportions, it turns out thick, sweet and the fruit holds its shape.

Ingredients per liter jar:

  • apricots - 2 tbsp
  • granulated sugar - 2 tbsp
  • water - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. First, prepare the apricots, namely remove the seeds and divide each fruit into two halves.

2. Prepared apricots transfer to a saucepan, add sugar and water. Mix thoroughly and put on the fire. Bring the mass to a boil (at the same time the sugar should be completely dissolved) and immediately remove from the stove. Be sure to leave the mass to cool.

3. After it has cooled completely, put the pot back on the fire and simmer for about 20 minutes until it thickens.

4. Put hot jam into a sterile jar and close with a sterile lid. Leave at room temperature until completely cooled, then store in a cold place. Done!
