The 33-year-old actress Louise Jacobson, daughter of Meryl Streep and Don Gummer, announced her coming out by admitting that she is a lesbian. She decided to tell the world about herself on her mother's birthday.
Jacobson posted pictures on Instagram with her producing partner Anna Blundell, writing: "Blessed to be entering a joyful new era," along with heart and rainbow flag emojis. One of the subscribers noted: "It's so meaningful to do a camming out on your mom's birthday," the Daily Mail reports.
Louise graduated from the Yale School of Drama with a degree in acting. She is known for her starring role as Marian Brooke in the HBO drama series The Gilded Age. In 2022, Louise dated actor Jonathan Higginbotham, whom she met in acamedia.
Jacobson is the youngest child of Streep and Hammer. The former couple has three other children: Henry Wolfe, 44, Mamie, 40, and Grace, 38.
