She has a military ID and has passed the military qualification commission: Monro reveals her plans in case of receiving a draft notice and serving in the Armed Forces

Monro spoke about her attitude to draft notices and her own service in the Armed Forces

Ukrainian blogger and travesty diva Monro has been in the process of transgender transition for many years, but due to her studies as a clinical psychologist and later at the International Association of Projective Methods and the full-scale Russian invasion, she had to visit a military recruiting office because of her official gender - male. Today, she recalls those events with a smile and says that in the event of mobilization, she would "adapt."

In the podcast "Divochi Nochi", the star claims that she decided to visit the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support on her own, but was very worried about how she would be treated because of her transgender identity. Later, she was sent to undergo a military medical examination, and she went there "as if to be shot."

"I have documents, a military ID. I passed the MLC. I came to the TCC myself. They sent me to the VLC. I came at 9 am with the tests. I went through one and another VLC. I was going as if to be shot. I needed a document because I was going to study. With my diagnosis, I got a deferral," she said.

Monro admits that the decision to go to the military enlistment office was a difficult one for her - she had to use the services of a lawyer. However, she was ready to do anything to get her documents.

"It's hard for me to talk about it. I had an old, old document. Perhaps it would have been enough, but I decided to close the matter. I googled everything, consulted with lawyers. I realized that it would either be postponed or "withdrawn". I needed a document, I was ready for anything," the star said.

She said that she would respond to the summons "adequately," but noted that she had a deferral. However, if she is mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, she would "adapt to the army," as the blogger said off-screen.

As a teenager, Monro suffered from slander because she rejected the male body, so she expected that passing the military commission would be mentally challenging.

"I expected stares. These are all my traumas and fears from childhood, from adolescence. For me, the worst thing was to be in a room with a large number of heterosexual men. And so I came with a package of documents. But no one said a word to me, no one recognized me, they asked for a photo. I do not fully realize the degree of people's love. And it was just tearful for me. Everyone wanted to help," Monro recalls.

Another masculine aspect that the star cannot get rid of is her passport, which she changed when she turned 45. In the legal field, Monro is a male, but when she had the opportunity, she changed her surname from Fediaev to Monro. However, her patronymic must remain the same - Petrovich.

"Monro. That's it. It's a last name. It gives me confidence. I don't understand why I didn't do it sooner. I lived in terror," she said.
