Only a few housewives know how to rub the stove to keep it clean for a long time

Car wax will reduce the number of stove cleanings to two per month

Anything to do with cooking is an endless source of dirt, stains and burnt grease. And many housewives dream of products that repel splashes to reduce the amount of effort required to keep the kitchen clean. In the meantime, there is a way to keep your hob free of dirt. People who have tried it say that after using it, you don't have to clean the appliance thoroughly more than once every two weeks.

OBOZREVATEL found out what this miracle product is. It turned out to be car wax.

The substance used to cover the car body is supposed to protect it from moisture and fine dirt that would damage the paintwork, as this leads to corrosion of the body. The metal surface of a kitchen hob is more resistant to damage because it is designed to withstand regular cleaning. But the contaminants it comes into contact with are of a similar nature - liquids and small pieces of food. Plus grease, of course.

To ensure that the car wax adheres well to the hob, wash it properly and make sure that the surface is completely degreased and dry. Next, spray the wax on the hob if you have it in liquid form, or apply it evenly with a sponge if it is in paste form. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rub it off thoroughly with a soft cloth, preferably a microfibre cloth.

This treatment should be repeated every 2-3 weeks. Thanks to the protective layer, fat and liquid will not stick to the surface and can be easily removed from the stove when it cools down after cooking.
