David, a 51-year-old Russian with a "primordially Russian" name, is doing time in Moscow, while his 49-year-old brother Anton lives in "unfriendly" America.

The artist revealed that he was against his youngest son's service in the army, but a certain "recruiter who brainwashed them" allegedly forced Anton Shufutynsky to join the Navy SEALs.

"We thought Anton would go to medical school, but he suddenly came and said, 'I want to join the army'. A recruiter appeared to brainwash them, an officer in good shape. I asked him why he had made this decision, and my son said, 'I want to prove to everyone and myself that I am a real man.' Anyway, Anton Shufutynsky helped American soldiers for many years. He also managed a department of a pharmaceutical company for some time, became a lecturer at the University of Philadelphia, defended his doctorate and started a family with an American woman.

A little less is known about your eldest son. He was born in Magadan but went to California to study. In his youth, David returned to Russia and tried his hand at acting and producing. Needless to say, his career did not work out.

Even Shufutinsky's 22-year-old grandson has become more successful than his father. David's son Noah is the "pride" of the chansonier. Under the stage name Westside Gravy, he raps in English and Hebrew and lives in the United States.

Shufutinsky said that he financially supported Noah's work, but was not ready to sing with him.
