Travis Scott detained in the United States
The famous American rapper Travis Scott was arrested at the Miami Beach pier in the middle of the night. It is reported that the police were called because of a quarrel between the star and the yacht's owners. When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, the artist was shouting at drunk people.
According to the BBC, Scott was first asked to leave the yacht, which he did, "shouting obscenities" on the way. However, after 5 minutes, the rapper tried to get back on board, being detained for that.
Travis ignored the officers' remarks. The report states that the rapper became "uncontrollable," disturbing local residents and shouting at people.
He did not hide the fact that he had been drinking and started arguing on the pier while drunk. The artist justified his actions with words, "This is Miami."
The celebrity's lawyer has already commented on the incident. He said that Travis Scott was detained "due to a misunderstanding".
"There was no physical altercation, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a quick and amicable resolution," the rapper's representative said.
