As a result, 1.3 million hryvnias were sent to BlueCheck Ukraine - an initiative of the famous American actor and director Liev Schreiber.

Those present had the opportunity to enjoy works of art, including works of Ukrainian artists from the gallery "Mriya" and Rukh art Hub, as well as private exhibits of Scott Baxter, who kindly provided his estate for the event. Among the works on display were masterpieces by renowned artists such as Warhol, Rodin and Dali. The charity event not only exposed guests to the world of Ukrainian culture, but also drew attention to important humanitarian needs.

Famous fashion designer and star of the show from Netflix "My Unorthodox life" Julia Gaart made a touching speech. The celebrity recalled how she was involved in delivering ambulances to Bakhmut and noted the importance of supporting Ukraine in the fight for freedom. "There are moments when you realize that your place makes more sense," Gaart noted. - The fight that is happening in Ukraine today is a battle for freedom, and it is our responsibility to stand with them!" She also purchased the first painting of the evening titled "In Bloom #6" by Kiev-based artist Dasha S. Kandinskaya.

The best defense against any attempted genocide is a broad embrace of humanity and culture at its core. They are simply fighting for the right to exist - to raise their children and their children's children as Ukrainians."
