Several tablets of effervescent aspirin will be needed for the cleanup.

You will need a few tablets of effervescent aspirin to clean it up.

Aspirin is one of the first medicines you should have in your home medicine cabinet. It treats headaches, helps fight colds and (surprise) is a great cleaning aid. Acetylsalicylic acid, which is the active ingredient in the product, can be an effective tool for fighting limescale deposits due to hard tap water. This means that you can clean the toilet with aspirin.

OBOZREVATEL advises using effervescent tablets that are about to expire or have already expired. They are no longer suitable as a medicine, but as a cleaning product they are quite good.

To clean the toilet bowl, drop three aspirin tablets on the bottom and leave them to dissolve for 10-15 minutes. During this time, they will form an active foam that will clean the inside of the toilet bowl from dirt. All you have to do is rinse it off by simply draining the water from the tank.

You can also sprinkle crushed effervescent aspirin on stains in the toilet bowl. Flush the water so that the surface is wet, and sprinkle the powdered aspirin on the stains. It will take effect immediately. After 10-15 minutes, walk over the stain with a brush.

Earlier, OBOZREVATEL talked about ways to clean the toilet with vinegar, citric acid, and even soda.
