Citric acid

Citric acid, whether factory-made or contained in fresh lemon juice, is good at dissolving even stale grease stains. Squeeze a fresh lemon or dilute a packet of acid in enough water and apply the liquid to the handles with a soft brush, such as an old toothbrush, or a cotton swab. You can apply the product to hard-to-reach and small parts with a cotton swab. Leave the product to work for 10-15 minutes, then go over the handles again with a brush to remove the dissolved grease. Repeat the procedure if necessary. In the end, rinse the handles with water. If they are glossy, such as metal, wipe them dry to prevent water stains.

Ammonia

This product is effective against obsolete grease, but you have to work with it carefully because of its strong odor. So it is better to clean surfaces with ammonia when the window is open. Soak a cotton swab in the liquid and swipe it on grease stains. Allow the product to work for a few minutes. Then use a brush to remove the dissolved dirt. Rinse the handles with water and wipe them dry.

Vinegar

You can soak the removable stove handles in vinegar. To do this, put them in a pot, pour a liter of water and add 250-300 ml of vinegar to it. In this solution, you need to boil the handles, turn off the fire and leave them for 10-15 minutes. During this time, you can treat the oven handle with undiluted vinegar, it will remove traces of grease from it. After the handles will stand in the hot solution, you need to take them out and rinse them under warm water. If necessary, remove the soaked dirt from them with a brush or sponge. Then let them dry and put them back in place.
