Andrei Sibiga
Andriy Ivanovich Sibiga is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey (2016-2021).
Short Biography
Andriy Sibiga was born on January 1, 1975 in the town of Zboriv in the Ternopil region.
He has work experience in diplomatic agencies since 1997. At the same time, Sibiga is currently working as the first deputy minister and already has a good understanding of the situation in the department.
In 2006-2008, Mr. Sibiga was the Deputy Director of the Treaty and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. - Deputy Director of the Treaty and Legal Department of the M3C of Ukraine.
In 2008-2012. - Minister Counselor at the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland.
In 2012-2016. - Director of the Consular Service Department of the M3C of Ukraine.
On August 23, 2016 he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkey.
Since May 31, 2021 - Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine
Since April 12, 2024, he has been First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
On September 5, 2024 Sibiga was appointed head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
