On the evening of September 2, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin arrived in Mongolia on an official visit. In this country, he is to be arrested under a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

The arrival of the Kremlin leader in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar was reported by Russian propagandists. They also published a video of his plane landing – a Tu-214 command plane.

Instead of being arrested at the airport, Putin was greeted by an honor guard right outside the plane.

The Kremlin had earlier announced that he would hold talks with Mongolian President Ukhnagiin Khurelsukh and other top officials.

The dictator is also scheduled to attend the celebration of the anniversary of the victory at Khalkhin Gol.

Mongolia is a member state of the ICC, which previously issued an arrest warrant for Putin. However, the Kremlin said it was not worried about this.
