"We are connected not only by ties of brotherhood, but also by personal friendship," the "PVC" told

The "Polish Volunteer Corps" ("PVC") confirmed that its fighters took part in a Russian volunteer operation in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. The first assault corps entered the fray and accomplished the mission without losses.

This was stated in a statement published in the Telegram channel "PVC". The Polish volunteers said that they were connected with the Russian Volunteer Corps by "not only ties of brotherhood in arms, but also personal friendship" (video posted at the bottom of the news).

"The first corps assault group entered the battle. All returned unharmed. The assigned task was successfully accomplished. We can point out that we were the first, together with one of the combat groups of the "RVC", to reach our destination," the report said.

The PVC also said they were honored to participate in an operation of this nature "if only because of its historical significance."

The Polish volunteers thanked the "RVC" for their preparation for the operation, assistance in preparation, professionalism and courage on the battlefield.

"Information about our participation in the operation was purposely published with a long delay for security reasons," the "RVC" explained.
