Fico believes that Slovakia should stop military aid to Ukraine

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico claims that on October 6, there was a second attempted assassination attempt on him. It allegedly took place in the city of Dukla, where he was visiting on the occasion of the anniversary of the Carpathian-Dukla operation in World War II.

The Slovak prime minister made the statement in an interview with the Standard. The politician assures that an armed citizen who allegedly "hates" him because of his beliefs about Ukraine was detained in the city.

"We captured a very belligerent person who hates me for my position on Ukraine. He was armed, fortunately, he did not get into the area where we, the politicians, were, but went to the area where the crowd was. There he passed through the metal detector frame, it was found that he had a fully loaded gun," Fico said.
