What could be better than an autumn evening with your family watching an interesting series? Among the variety of genres and plots, it's not easy to find stories that would interest almost all age groups.

American Family

A story about three families. The first one consists of a hot-tempered Colombian Gloria, her son Manny and her husband Jay, who, despite his advanced age, wants to enjoy life above all else. The second family consists of Claire, Jay's daughter from his first marriage, her indecisive husband Phil, and their three children. The third is Jay's son Mitchell, his lover Cameron and his adopted daughter Lily. The authors of the series say that the combination of the fates and characters of these very different people creates a portrait of modern America. The portrait is quite optimistic, because despite all the quarrels and misunderstandings, the characters try to stay together and always solve rather than hide their problems.

Raising Hope

This is a witty series on the beloved topic of "life in a sleepy suburb". The stories are told in 20-minute episodes. It all starts with a 23-year-old frivolous guy named Jimmy accidentally getting involved with a serial killer who became pregnant and gave birth to a daughter named Hope. However, the woman was sentenced to death, and now Jimmy and his frivolous parents have to learn how to raise a child

Malcolm in the middle

The good old series that made Bryan Cranston famous. In Malcolm, the actor plays Hal, an artistic father with a fine mental organization who is not at all adapted to family life. Meanwhile, Lois is an authoritarian and strict mother who is feared by both Hal and their three children: Reese, Malcolm and Dewey. Malcolm is a smart kid, but he constantly doubts everything. This is an interesting adventure comedy, in each episode of which everything goes wrong at first, but love and family values help to fix any situation.

Gilmore Girls

A single 32-year-old woman raises her 16-year-old daughter in a small town near Harvard. The mother and daughter are like sisters to each other, sharing their thoughts and discussing everything. The series, which ran from 2000 to 2007, has a warm family atmosphere. By the way, Netflix ordered and released a sequel to the story 10 years later.

Parenthood

The series is about funny situations, heartbreak, tense moments, and family worries. A man and a woman are divorced but stay together with their four adult children. This is a story about married life, generational conflicts, and all the vicissitudes of life that a family overcomes thanks to a strong foundation of wisdom and love.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

The story is set in the 1950s. This is a story about a housewife who discovered her talent as a stand-up comedian. But the more successful Mrs. Maisel becomes, the more her personal life suffers. The main character is looking for a balance between personal space, love and creativity. Actress Rachel Brosnahan even won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
