On the night of July 6, Russian occupants attacked Lviv with missiles, hitting critical infrastructure and a residential building. As a result of another terrorist attack by the aggressor country, three people were killed and at least eight were injured.
Emergency services worked at the sites of the strikes, removing debris and helping people. This was reported in the Telegram channel by the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi (to see the video, go to the end of the page).
"They hit the object of critical infrastructure in Lviv. There are preliminary wounded," the official wrote.
He later added that a Russian missile hit an apartment building. There was a fire, which was promptly extinguished.
"There are casualties. Firefighters, medics and specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working at the site. The people are being provided with all necessary assistance. Rescuers are removing the rubble," said the head of the RMA.
He and the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi published video messages from the scene of the tragedy. The mayor pointed out that as of 05:20, there were eight wounded, and one person was in serious condition.
According to him, the Russian missile attack damaged about 60 apartments of the apartment building and a number of other houses around it.
Windows are out, and there is serious damage. Construction debris mangled up to fifty cars.
Emergency workers were pulling people out from under the rubble. Other services also worked at the site.
As of 05:50, Sadovyi reported that rescuers had pulled the bodies of three victims of a Russian Federation terrorist attack from under the rubble of a high-rise.
According to the mayor, Stryiska Street in Lviv was blocked until emergency workers remove the rubble and get all the people out.
To remind, the air force of the AFU reported that the Russian army attacked Ukraine with "Kalibr" missiles from the Black Sea.
