Russia's propagandists spread information about the terrorist attack on ZNPP on the night of 5 July: they blame the Armed Forces in advance

Russians write about the terrorist attack on ZNPP on the night of 5 July

On Tuesday, 4 July, Russian propagandists began spreading fakes that Ukraine was allegedly going to attack Zaporizhzhia NPP in occupied Enerhodar on the night of 5 July.

In particular, this was stated by Renat Karchaa, Advisor to the Director General of Rosenergoatom, amid reports of a possible future terrorist attack at the plant. His words were spread by Russian propaganda media and Telegram channels.

"Kyiv is going to attack ZNPP on the night of 5 July using high-precision weapons and kamikaze drones," Karchaa said.

He revealed that Ukraine is also allegedly going to hit ZNPP with a Tochka-U missile with a warhead "filled with radioactive waste".

As a reminder, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that the Russian occupation contingent is gradually leaving the territory of the Energodar NPP. The invaders ordered the employees who remained there to blame Ukraine for any emergencies.

Later, it became known that some of the collaborators, employees of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant who had signed contracts with Rosatom, had already left Enerhodar.

Experts assure us that in the event of a possible explosion of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant by the Russian occupiers, there will be no "second Chernobyl". The capital, for example, is not likely to feel anything, as the distance from ZNPP to Kyiv is more than 400 km.

In the event of a terrorist attack on ZNPP, Ukraine has prepared an evacuation plan for residents of several regions. In addition, exercises to overcome the consequences of a possible accident at Zaporizhzhya NPP have been held in the regions close to the plant.

There are various hypothetical scenarios of what areas could be affected by an explosion at ZNPP:

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- Reputable publications believe that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin may well order the explosion of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to "strengthen his position" in power.

- Zelenskyy said that Russia has a plan to remotely blow up the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is located in the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar. The invaders may carry out such an explosion after the transfer of control over the nuclear power plant to Ukraine and the IAEA.
