Russia spoke about the "illegality" of Crimea transfer to Ukraine once again, recognizing Khrushchev as a criminal

Konstantinov voiced nonsense about the "illegality" of Crimea transfer to Ukraine from the U.S.S.R.

Russia recalled that the Crimean peninsula was included in the Ukrainian S.S.R. in 1954 "illegally" once again. During the transfer of Crimea, "the laws and constitution of the U.S.S.R. were allegedly grossly violated."

Crimean collaborator Vladimir Konstantinov, who was appointed by the occupiers as the "chairman of the Crimean parliament", said this on the sidelines of the International Forum-Exhibition "Russia", which is taking place in Moscow.

The proteges of the occupying Russian "authorities" in the temporarily occupied Crimea have created a whole "working group" tasked with finding "grounds" to justify the seizure of the Ukrainian peninsula. Konstantinov is working hard on this task.

"The working group has established that the laws and the Constitution of the U.S.S.R. were grossly violated when Crimea was transferred to the Ukrainian S.S.R.," he said.

The collaborator, who has been facing a criminal case in Ukraine since 2014 under the article on encroachment on the constitutional order and calls for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order and under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war since 2021, decided that it was allegedly impossible to carry out such a transfer legally. He began to think that to implement the transfer of the peninsula, several regulations had to be adopted. But their coordination, the traitor believes, would have led to the fact that "each republic would have started to make territorial claims."

That is why, Konstantinov said, the first secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, Nikita Khrushchev, held the program behind the scenes "in order not to open Pandora's box and so that few people pay attention to it."

"What was done was illegal and a crime," Konstantinov summarized.

Konstantinov did not explain how this "intelligence" refutes the fact that Russia recognized the borders of Ukraine after the collapse of the U.S.S.R. and considered Crimea an integral part of Ukraine until 2014.

In May of this year, the occupiers planned to cancel the decision to transfer the peninsula to Ukraine. The invaders' plans were announced by the same "head of the Crimean parliament".

"We will consider this issue. We plan to entrust its detailed study to the scientific council on lawmaking under the chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea," Konstantinov said at the time.

At the same time, Russia invented "legal problems" in the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine in 1954. The Kremlin also instructed the traitor Konstantinov to voice frankly ridiculous arguments.

"The process of transferring Crimea to the Ukrainian S.S.R. in 1954 was not legally reasoned, the violations committed were so gross and blatant that it would not take long to justify the decision to cancel it," Konstantinov was quoted as saying.
