On the morning of February 15, Russia launched missile attacks on Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, and Myrhorod district in Poltava region. An infrastructure facility and a warehouse were attacked, and a fire broke out, injuring several people.

To launch a massive attack on Ukraine, the occupiers took off with Tu-95MS bombers and launched Kalibr missiles, the Ukrainian Air Force warned. Air defense systems were activated in Kyiv region, and local administrations reported details of enemy shelling in the regions.

The air alert due to the threat of missile strikes from Russia began to spread at half past five on Thursday morning.

Several Tu-95MS were seen taking off from the Olenya airfield (Murmansk region of the Russian Federation). According to monitoring channels, it was seven bombers. At 04:20, the planes reached the launching line in the Caspian Sea region.

"Preliminarily, at 04:20, missiles of the Kh-101/555/55 type were launched from Tu-95 from the Caspian Sea. We expect the cruise missiles to enter the airspace in an hour," wrote the Monitor monitoring channel.

At the same time, the enemy also launched Kalibr missiles at Ukraine. They entered the airspace of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.

"They are likely to fly over Enerhodar/Vasylivka in the next 10-20 minutes. The threat of missiles is Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions. We need to take care of the shelter for the next hour and a half," the Mykolaiv Vanek Telegram channel reported.

Around 06:00, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that enemy missiles were maneuvering from Zhytomyr to Kyiv, from Sumy to Poltava, and from Kyiv region to Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Zhytomyr. The military warned of a missile heading toward Rivne, and possibly an Kh-59 toward Dnipro.

At this time, the first explosions began to be heard in Kyiv, and there were also loud explosions in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv, in Khmelnytskyi and Poltava regions.

It is known that the air defense forces shot down all the missiles flying at the capital. At the same time, Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, added that fragments of enemy missiles fell in two settlements in one of the districts (Buchansky). Seven private houses, several outbuildings and a car are known to have been damaged. Windows were smashed, facades and roofs were damaged.

During the attack in Lviv, a missile hit an infrastructure facility. The blast wave smashed windows in houses on Naukova Street, hit a school and cars. Three residents of a high-rise building were injured.

An infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia was also hit by a Russian missile attack, and one person was injured. The occupiers hit a warehouse in the Myrhorod district of Poltava region with a missile: a fire broke out on an area of 100 square meters.

In addition, the enemy tried to attack civilian infrastructure in Dnipropetrovs'k region. The head of the RMA Serhiy Lysak noted that the information will be provided later.

The first deputy head of the Khmelnytsky RMA added that there was damage to civilian facilities in the region, but no casualties were reported.

In the morning, the defenders of the sky shot down an enemy missile in Ivano-Frankivsk region, said Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the RMA. The falling debris caused a minor fire on the roofs of outbuildings. Thanks to the prompt work of rescuers, the fire was extinguished.
