Occupants continue to exert pressure in two directions: 114 combat engagements have already taken place – General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, 114 direct combat engagements between Russian occupants and Ukrainian defenders have already taken place at the front. The situation is particularly tense in the Pokrovsk and Lyman sectors.

Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the line, and destroying the plans of the Russian aggressor. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kupyansk sector, four attempts of the occupants' advance were registered, and fighting is taking place near Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman sector, the number of attacks almost doubled to 18, and 6 of them are taking place in the areas of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Nevske, Serebryansk Forestry, Terny, and Synkivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, a total of 6 occupants' attempts to advance were recorded, with the main fighting taking place near Ivanivske.

In the Toretsk sector, enemy attacks are concentrated in the vicinity of Pivdenne. This is the seventh attack in the sector today.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 13 combat engagements continue in the areas of Sokol, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Oleksandropol, and Vozdvyzhenka. To date, 35 hostile attacks have been registered in this sector.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy tried three times to attack the positions of our defenders, but all attempts were repelled. The enemy also bombarded with anti-aircraft guns in the area of Solodke and Velyka Novoselivka.

In the Orikhivsk sector, fighting is ongoing in the area of Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the aggressor attacked in the vicinity of Krynky for the fourth time in 24 hours.

The situation in other sectors remains stable.

Our troops are controlling the situation and depleting enemy forces along the entire front line.
