121 combat engagements took place in the frontline: the General Staff named the hottest sector

Since the beginning of the day, most of the fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector. At the same time, Russian occupants keep trying to break through our defenses in the Siversk, Toretsk, Lyman, and Kupyansk sectors.

A total of 121 combat engagements were recorded along the frontline. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00 on Monday, July 1.

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks in the areas of Hlyboke, Vovchansk, and Lyptsi. The situation is under control, two firefights are ongoing. The enemy continues air strikes in the Kharkiv region, having launched seven attacks with guided aerial bombs at Vovchanski Khutory, Tykhe, Okhrymivka, Neskuchne, Lyptsi, and Vesele.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 11 times. The attacks took place in the areas of Sinkivka, Stelmakhivka, Pishchane, Berestove, and Stepova Novoselivka. Enemy aircraft attacked Kupyansk Vuzlovyi and Lisna Stinka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy continues its offensive towards Makiivka, Hrekivka, and Nevske, having carried out 13 attacks, including eight assaults near Makiivka. The situation is under the control of the Defense Forces.

The number of combat engagements in the Siverskyi sector increased to 18. Ukrainian troops are repelling the aggressor's attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Ivan-Daryivka, Spirne, Vyymka, and Verkhnekamianske. At the same time, the occupants launched three air strikes on Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops are trying to advance to Chasovyi Yar and Klishchyivka, having launched five assaults.

In the Toretsk sector, the invaders attacked 13 times in the direction of Toretsk, Pivnichne, Pivdenne, and New York. Four firefights are ongoing. The situation is under control.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 37 combat engagements took place, 12 of them are ongoing. The enemy is most active near Novooleksandrivka, where 13 attacks were registered. Other hotspots in the frontline are Novoselivka Persha, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Netailove, Voskhod, and Sokol. The enemy launched air strikes on Vovche and Oleksandropol.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka. Russia launched two air strikes on Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy is fighting back near Vodiane, Urozhaine, and Makarivka. Eight aggressor's assault attempts have been registered here since the beginning of the day. The Russians attacked Berestka, Veselyi Hai, Velyka Novosilka, and Odradne with guided aerial bombs.

In the Orikhivsk sector, Robotyne and Lobkove came under attack from unguided aerial missiles. The enemy is trying to advance from Novopokrovka to Novodanilivka. At the same time, the occupants are receiving a decent rebuff.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, three combat engagements took place at footholds, but they were unsuccessful for the enemy. The Russians launched two air strikes on Havrylivka and Burhunka and attacked Olhivka with unguided missiles.

In other areas, the situation remains without significant changes. The border villages of Chernihiv and Sumy regions continue to be shelled from the territory of Russia, with Yelino, Bleshnia, Halahanivka, Leonivka, Starykove, Novodmitrivka, Myropilske, Myropillia, Loknia, Mohrytsia, Velyka Rybytsia and Pavlivka being hit today.

The defense forces are courageously restraining enemy attempts to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting fire damage on the occupiers and depleting them along the entire front line.
