"The roof has gone off": Povetkin says Usyk "shows Americans how to shoot in Crimea"

Former world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin called Oleksandr Usyk sick because of his categorical stance against the Russian occupiers. The representative of the aggressor country added the absurd idea that Ukrainians have lost their way and once again supported Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.

Povetkin said this in an interview with the propaganda channel Match TV. The former Russian boxer and Athens 2004 Olympic champion repeated the traditional Russian narrative that Russia is not at war with Ukraine, but with the entire West, and Usyk "shows the Americans how to shoot at Crimea."

"When it all started, that's when we talked to him. When I supported Vladimir Vladimirovich. I never said the phrase 'brotherly hearts', I said 'brotherly peoples'. And I still think so. They just got lost, that's all I can say. Usyk... He's a good boxer. And the fact that he has lost his mind... He has his own country. But I can't understand how he shows the Americans how he shoots at Crimea, even though he is a Crimean. I think it's abnormal," Povetkin said.

Earlier, he criticized Usyk for his anti-Russian statements with the words "you can't talk like that". Povetkin also said that if Russia had not attacked Ukraine, " there would have been a war on our territory." The Russian also told a lie that the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers "hide behind civilians and then tell something about our people."

For her part, Usyk's wife Kateryna spoke harshly of Povetkin, calling him a coward. She also spoke about a call from the Russian Knight to her husband, during which the representative of the aggressor country tried to prove that "something is wrong in Ukraine."
