The day before, the group stage of the qualifying round of the 2024 FIFA Continental Championship to be held in Germany ended in Europe. After that, 21 participants in the tournament were determined, as well as the teams that will compete for the remaining three tickets to the championship in the spring.

The national team of Ukraine, which took third place in Group C and failed to beat Italy in the decisive match, will also play in the playoffs. Thanks to their performance in the League of Nations, Serhii Rebrov's men are among the 12 teams that retain a chance to travel to Germany.
