Teams Ukraine will play with in the playoffs of Euro 2024 selection: three final schedules

The day before, the group stage of the qualifying round of the 2024 FIFA Continental Championship to be held in Germany ended in Europe. After that, 21 participants in the tournament were determined, as well as the teams that will compete for the remaining three tickets to the championship in the spring.

The national team of Ukraine, which took third place in Group C and failed to beat Italy in the decisive match, will also play in the playoffs. Thanks to their performance in the League of Nations, Serhii Rebrov's men are among the 12 teams that retain a chance to travel to Germany.

After Croatia beat Armenia and finished second in Group D, it became clear that the Ukrainians would meet Wales, Israel or Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semifinals of the playoffs. It will become clear who exactly will be the Blue and Yellows' opponent after the draw on November 23.

In the final, our national team will face one of the strongest in the Poland-Estonia, Israel-Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina-Finland pairs. It should be noted that the Euro 2024 playoff matches will take place on March 21 and 26 next year. The Ukrainians will definitely play the semifinal match away.

As a reminder, a loud scandal erupted around the Ukraine-Italy match after the referee failed to award a penalty kick to the visitors for a foul, after which Mykhailo Mudryk fell. Even the captain of the Azzurri, Gianluigi Donnarumma, admitted that the defender had violated the rules. Social networks reacted strongly to the episode, and even the Italian media did not defend the referee.
