Elena Välbe gave a frank interview

Elena Välbe, President of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation, believes it is necessary to drop a bomb in the center of London. The three-time Olympic champion sees no other options for Russia's return to world sport.

"If we threw a serious bomb on the center of London, everything would be over by now and we would have been allowed everywhere by now. Russia's struggle with the outside world has been going on for centuries. We have never been loved, even when they pretend to love us. They always stand with a shiv behind their backs. I love it when our country is strong, our strength annoys the whole world," - quotes Välbe News.ru.

According to the 56-year-old native of Magadan, she is confident that sooner or later all restrictions will be lifted from the Russian Federation.

"They also have nowhere to go, because it can't go on forever. If a year ago I said that we would be returned at the end of the SWO, now I realize that even at the end of the special operation nothing will happen quickly. It will take more than one year to return to the international arena," the former skier said.

In the comments, Russian fans did not appreciate such an idea of their titled compatriot.

"What an animal", "Clinic", "Go sleep it off, otter", "What has she turned into? Alcohol in huge quantities by the looks of it, although maybe she was like that, she just kept quiet", "Oh and an idiot. She prefers not to think about the consequences of such a decision. I have lived and that's enough", - wrote users.

Some have advised Elena to go to the front herself to understand what war really looks like.

"Is she aware that it's not only Russia that has bombs? People who talk about wars so easily would better go to a real war zone, it's not far to go now. Maybe after that, they will be less arrogant," the users said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, not so long ago Välbe ridiculed the announcement by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) of a truce during the Games-2024 in Paris. The former athlete added that Russia has not declared war on anyone
