"I will fly to Dubai, and you will hide in basements": the Ukrainian champion insulted the people of Dnipro and received a response
Ukrainian rowing champion Alsu Aleynikova has become involved in a major scandal. The 22-year-old athlete and model from Dnipro publicly insulted Ukrainians, calling them "an empty place," and also enthusiastically dreamed of new Russian missile strikes on her hometown.
Aleynikova made the statements on her Instagram page, opentv.media reports. The daughter of Dina Miftakhutdinova, vice-champion of the 1996 Olympics and a member of the Servant of the People party in the Dnipro Regional Council, began to mock her compatriots who are going through a war.
"I might fly to Dubai tomorrow. There I will drink coconut, go shopping, and feel great, while you will be at war and hiding in basements. You are an empty place and do not solve anything. Therefore, sit silently. You'll get a lot more from Russia, you'll wake up, you'll be cleaning up the sh*** here," Aleynikova said.

Interestingly, after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the athlete posted posts in support of the country with national symbols. Residents of Dnipro suspected Aleynikova of collaboration and assumed that she had already fled abroad. They advised her not to return to the city.
"P****ts to you in Dnipro. Wait. We do not forgive this", "Uneducated, ill-mannered, limited stupid animal. Shame on her parents, shame on them. The garbage of our country, unfortunately", "And she could have continued to live. All she had to do was keep silent.", "It's funny that her profile says 'memorial to death'. It's ironic," people wrote in the comments.
