The Canadian catman gave a candid interview

Catman and trainer Russ Anber, who once worked with Oleksandr Usyk, is shocked that the scandalous episode in the Ukrainian's fight against Daniel Dubois is still causing controversy. The Canadian specialist is amazed that many experts and fans doubt that the Briton's kick on the Ukrainian's groin was legitimate.

Anber did not hold back his emotions, once again commenting on what happened in the fifth round of the fight.

"I can't even believe that after you or anyone else saw it, this question can be asked. That's crazy! This question is still being asked despite the visual evidence" Vringe quotes a translation of Anber's interview with Boxing UK's Youtube channel.

Anber admitted that the situation still bothers him and he takes all opinions on the legality of the hit as a personal offense.

"He hit him in the groin band area. That's not a legitimate target in boxing! It's a violation! Why are you even discussing this!? We have all these pictures and proof that Usyk's shorts were not high, and even if you say they were, the punch was lower! So stop it. I can't believe someone denies the obvious facts ignoring the evidence," the Canadian said.

Earlier, Anber came to the Sky Sports studio where he analyzed this episode in the Ukrainian's fight point by point, citing undeniable facts of foul play.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, video evidence of Dubois hitting Usyk below the belt on purpose appeared online.

The fight ended in the 9th round when the Brit missed a heavy blow to the head. In total, Daniel missed  88 punches to the body and to the head from the Ukrainian.
