Cherchesov takes charge of Kazakhstan

The former head coach of the Russian national team, Stanislav Cherchesov, who took over the national team of Kazakhstan, was distinguished by shameful behavior after his appointment to a new position. During a press conference, the 60-year-old specialist was outraged that a journalist asked him a question in the state language.

This was reported by the Tengi Sport portal. One of the media representatives addressed Cherchesov in Kazakh, to which the Russian first joked and then angrily turned to the journalist. The following dialog took place between the men.

Cherchesov: I'm sorry, where are you from?

Journalist: I'm from Kazakhstan.

Cherchesov: Why are you addressing me like that? Can I answer you in Ossetian?

Journalist: Go ahead, answer.

Cherchesov: But no one will understand.

It should be noted that Cherchesov signed a contract with the Kazakhstan Football Federation for two years with the possibility of extension for the same period.

As a reminder, the Russian national team has been suspended from international tournaments since the start of the country's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Recently, the president of the European Football Union (UEFA), Alexander Čeferin, spoke about the possibility of returning teams from Russia.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Russian national team defender Nikita Chernov pretended that he did not understand the reasons for the exclusion of teams and athletes from Russia from international competitions.
