The unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) plans to hold about five hundred rounds of sparring in preparation for his rematch with Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). At the same time, our compatriot emphasized that the final plan of the training camp is made by his mentors.

Usyk said this in an interview with the Ready To Fight platform, which he launched to help professional boxers. The Ukrainian boxer added that sometimes he does not understand the meaning of some exercises, but he is forced to obey and complete the tasks.

"The last camp was such that we had more than 500 rounds of sparring. But it's not about quantity, it's about quality. In this camp, I think there will be the same amount. But I don't know. Because the task is set by the training committee, which is here with me. They set the task, and I fulfill it. If I don't like it, I can grumble at first, but then I fulfill it," Usyk shared the details of his preparation.

We would like to remind you that in the first fight, Oleksandr defeated Tyson by split decision - 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 - and became the absolute world heavyweight champion.

Usyk also shared his expectations for the second fight with Fury and responded to accusations of cheating during the fight on May 18. In addition, Oleksandr told what he learned from this fight.
