Our team lost in a fierce struggle

The Ukrainian women's 3x3 basketball team has completed its performances at the European Championships. Krystyna Filevych, Anzhelika Liashko, Miriam Uro-Nili and Tetiana Yurkevychus lost to Spain in the quarterfinals 15:18.

Spain, which is the Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist with the same team, started the match aggressively against Ukraine, hit several long shots and led 8-2 after the first 2.5 minutes. But then the Ukrainians leveled the game, although for a long time they could not get close to their opponents in the score.

With a minute and a half to go, Ukraine was losing 11:18, but our girls played to the last, managing to reduce their deficit to 3 points and missing several long-range shots that could have minimized the gap.

Thus, Ukraine completes its performances in the quarterfinals of the European 3x3 Championship, and Spain will continue to fight for victory in the championship.
