Ukraine's winger Viktor Tsyhankov scored his third goal in this season's Spanish league. Our compatriot opened the scoring in Girona's 1-1 match with Athletic Bilbao.

The Ukrainian came out in the starting lineup of the Catalan club. In the first half, the teams failed to score, although the guests had several good chances to do so.

At the very beginning of the second 45 minutes, Girona managed to shock the Bilbao players. Savio, traditionally for himself, accelerated the attack on the left flank and gave an accurate diagonal pass to the forward Stuani. The Athletic defender did not allow the Uruguayan to play, slightly touching the ball, but it ended up in Tsyhankov's feet.

Viktor made a lightning-fast decision to score. The Ukrainian sent the ball into the bottom corner of the goal of Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon.
