"Tough, just tough". The Olympic medalist showed how the Russian national team lives. She was immediately "hit in the head" and forced to delete the video. The video remained online
Anastasia Kuleshova (née Sedova), a bronze medalist in the cross-country skiing relay at the 2019 Pyeongchang Olympics, complained about the living conditions at a hotel in Kazan, where the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Cup will take place from January 16-19.
The 29-year-old Russian woman was outraged by the very small size of the room, where it is almost impossible to put all her belongings away.
"The Russian national team. It's just a 2-by-2 room. Here's my bag, please, and there's nowhere to put it. A closet. A normal closet? No shelves, nothing. Two hangers per person. Just how am I supposed to put this bag, which has taken up the entire passage between the beds? Where should I put my things? The glorious Kazan is ours. It's great. Tough, just tough," Kuleshova said.
The video was later deleted from the Telegram channel.
Russian fans were outraged by this attitude of the Russian Ski Federation.
"And, of course, instead of solving the problem, Kulishova has already been given a slap on the wrist to stop her from showing off since she has already deleted the video. Next, we are waiting for a bunch of officials of all stripes to tell us what a horrible life athletes from the United States and Ukraine live in. Great power," users mock.
Local commentators refused to see the problem with the athlete.
"What's wrong with the number? I watched the video, but I didn't see anything glaring. Everything is clean, well maintained, cozy. The fact that she laid out a can between the beds is a question for the athlete," users wrote.
