Russian Andrey Rublev loses his mind at Wimbledon, smashing himself with a racket several times. Video
Russia's second seed Andrey Rublev (ATP No. 6) has dropped out of the English Open tennis championships. The 26-year-old Muscovite sensationally lost in the 1st round of Wimbledon to Argentine Francisco Comesaña, ranked 122nd in the world rankings, 4-6, 7-5, 2-6, 6-7 (5).
After losing the first set, Rublev managed to put himself together and secure a hard-fought victory in the second, leveling the score in sets, but then he had a nervous breakdown.
With the score 1-3 in the third game, the Russian made a very inaccurate shot, after which he simply lost his mind. The tennis player started hitting his knee with the racket in anger, shouting something at the stands.
Later, cameras showed the 'neutral' tennis player with a Russian passport with blood on his knee.
In the comments, Russian fans are outraged by such actions of their compatriot, calling him a "hysterical person."
