"Next to that de*t..." Zozulya attacked Shevchenko for his act at the Champions League in Milan

Ukrainian striker of the Spanish club Rayo Majadaonda Roman Zozulya was outraged that former coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko was sitting next to the famous Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic. The episode happened at the semifinal of the Champions League between Italian Inter and Milan.

At the beginning of the match, cameras caught a glimpse of two celebrities in the stands of Milan's San Siro stadium.

Djokovic's father glorified Russia at the Australian Open this past January and was photographed with a Russian Z-patriot. Novak later tried to exonerate his ancestor by calling the situation a misunderstanding and also allegedly speaking out against the war.

"Latent va*a? Stupidity? Double standards? If you are an ambassador for the charitable platform United 24 to support Ukraine, then in addition to recording promotional videos, you also have a reputational responsibility, not personal, but for the entire country. And if you are invited to a soccer game and an athlete with openly pro-Russian views sits next to you, you cannot, a priori, snuggle up to him with a blissful look. A conscientious Ukrainian would not sit next to this shit on the same acre. So why is our national pride sitting there?" - Zozulya wrote on his Instagram.

Zozulya resents the fact that Andrey Nikolayevich "stubbornly pretends that his personal interests, friendship, and preferences are outside the war. Roman called this situation the term "situational patriotism.

"We demand sanctions from the whole world and the non-admission of Russian athletes to international championships and competitions, and our ambassador hangs out with the main adepts and propagandists of the opposite point of view. So are we perceived adequately in the world after that?" the 33-year-old striker noted.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on May 11, Milan lost to Inter in the semifinals of the Champions League. The meeting ended with a score of 0:2.

Last December 17, Shevchenko took part in a match of soccer legends during the 2022 World Cup, where he was photographed with FIFA president Gianni Infantino in his arms. At the same time, Infantino and FIFA banned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski from speaking before the World Cup finals.

This provoked an emotional reaction from Zozulia. "God, what in the world is going on? What is everyone looking at?" - Roman wrote at the time.
