Argentine soccer player decided where to continue his career

Argentine forward Lionel Messi will continue his career at Inter Miami, the star footballer himself said in an interview with Diario Sport. This same information was originally reported by journalist Guilhem Balague.

"I made the decision to move to Miami. I'm still not sure if the deal is 100% closed or if something is missing, but well, we decided to continue the route there," Messi said.

Lionel admitted that he didn't make the move to Barcelona.

"I decided I would go to Miami. I had offers from European teams, but I didn't even consider them because I had a plan to go to Barcelona and if it didn't work out, to leave European soccer." Mundo Deportivo quoted the Argentine as saying.

It should be noted that Inter Miami, which is owned by the legendary English ex-footballer David Beckham, has been featuring Ukrainian national team veteran Serhiy Krivtsov since January.

On June 1, it became known that Leo will leave French Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season.

Messi joined PSG from Barcelona in the summer of 2021, signing a two-year contract. During that time he has played 74 matches for the French in all competitions, scoring 32 goals and giving 35 assists.
