Vlada Nikolchenko, bronze medalist of the 2019 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships and bronze medalist of the 2019 European Championships, has been excluded from the Ukrainian national team, Tribuna.com reports, citing acting Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidnyi. A few days ago, the 20-year-old native of Kharkiv posted a negative comment about the Poles on her Instagram.

The four-time Grand Prix winner, while at the Warsaw airport, posted a short story in which she said that she "hates this country with all my heart, and most of all, the people who live here."

This post caused great outrage among Polish sports officials. Former Secretary General of the Polish Gymnastics Federation Piotr Dec drew attention to the statement. After that, the Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation opened a disciplinary case against Nikolchenko.

A few days later, the Ukrainian woman herself apologized for what happened, justifying herself with unnecessary emotions.

It should be noted that the exclusion from the Ukrainian national team did not affect Nikolchenko's vacation in the United Arab Emirates. She posted an enthusiastic story on her Instagram, in which she photographed the entrance to the popular beach of the Dubai's Cove Beach.
